Orbit x is an item finder that helps you locate your personal items using the Apple Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.
LET'S GET STARTED
- Press and hold your Orbit button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
- Open the Find My app, tap
, then choose Add Other Item.
- Tap Connect, type a name and select an emoji, then tap Continue.
- Tap Continue to register the item to your Apple ID, then tap Finish.
If the item is registered to someone else’s Apple ID, they need to remove it before you can add it.
After setup, you can locate your Orbit in the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.
BASIC FEATURES
Orbit x works exclusively with the Apple Find My network.
The Apple Find My network provides an easy, secure way to locate compatible personal items on a map using the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac. Simply pair your Orbit with the Apple Find My app to view it right alongside your Apple devices.
If your Orbit ever goes missing, you can put it in Lost Mode to display a message and contact information to anyone who might find it.
PRIVACY
The Find My network is encrypted and anonymous, so no one else, not even Apple or Orbit can view its location.

BATTERY
This product has a replaceable CR2025 battery that will last up to 1 year. When the battery runs out you can replace it in 3 simple steps:
- Use the included tool to twist open your Orbit. Place your orbit inside both shells and twist each side counter clockwise.
- Replace the battery with a new CR2032 type battery, placing the battery positive side down.
- Close your Orbit using the same tool and opposite direction.
FACTORY RESET
How to do a factory reset:
- Press the button on your Orbit 3 times quickly and hold the button for 10 seconds.
- After a successful factory reset you will hear a confirmation sound.
FAQ
1. Connectivity with Find My App: The connection between the Find My app and Orbit X devices might occasionally fail on certain iPhone models. This issue seems to stem from the Find My app itself and can typically be resolved by either restarting the current iPhone or switching to a different one.
Suggested Solution: Restart the iPhone.
2. Power Off vs Factory Reset: It is crucial to distinguish between the 'Power Off' and 'Factory Reset' functions.
- Power Off: This function can be executed by holding the button for 10 seconds.
- Factory Reset: This operation is carried out by pressing the button three times followed by holding it for 10 seconds. (Click+Click+Click+Hold 10s)
3. Beeping Sound and Responsiveness in Orbit X Devices: The beeping sound that persists for 10 minutes after powering on Orbit X devices is indicative of the device being in pairing mode. If the device remains unpaired after 10 minutes, it will automatically power off. If the device is unresponsive after powering on, it's possibly because it powered off after remaining unpaired during the 10-minute window.
Suggested Solution: Pair the device as soon as it is powered on. Restart the iPhone if it fails to locate the device. If the 10-minute pairing window is missed, power on the device again and initiate pairing.
