GET STARTED
Just download the Alexa app, open it, and link your Orbit account with these steps:
1. Tap the menu in the top-left
2. Tap Skills & Games
3. Tap the search icon in the top right corner and search for "Orbit"
4. Select the Orbit Skill, tap Enable to Use and then Link account to Alexa
5. Enter you Orbit account details (use the same login as with the app)
In the Orbit app, under each Orbit settings (3 vertical dot next to your Orbit name) there is an Alexa settings which allows you to change the category of your Orbit.
What is a category?
A category is a title you give your Orbit that Alexa will recognise. For example if your Orbit is under the category "Glasses", this is what you will call your Orbit with Alexa:
"Alexa, ask Orbit to find my Glasses"
How do I ring my Orbit or phone with Amazon Alexa?
To ring your Orbit, say: “Alexa, ask Orbit to ring my keys” or “Alexa, ask Orbit to find my keys”
To ring your phone, say: “Alexa, ask Orbit to ring my phone” or “Alexa, ask Orbit to find my phone”
To find out the last known location of your Orbit, say: “Alexa, ask Orbit to locate my keys”
If multiple Orbit products are connected to your Orbit account (for example, if you have two sets of keys with an Orbit on both sets) Alexa will ask which Orbit you would like it to ring by giving you the option to “Select First Orbit” or “Select Second Orbit”
